2021 Broker Owner Conference to be held at Austin in August

Re/Max LLC will be holding its 2021 Broker Owner Conference (BOC) in Austin, Texas for the first time at the JW Marriott from Sunday, Aug. 8 until Aug. 10, a press release said.

Re/Max LLC will be holding its 2021 Broker Owner Conference (BOC) in Austin, Texas for the first time at the JW Marriott from Sunday, Aug. 8 until Aug. 10, a press release said. 

According to the statement, the event will include multiple diverse, dynamic speakers including athletes and artists to help deliver a message of inspiration and overcoming challenges to be successful. 

“We’re thrilled to be able to hold this year’s BOC conference in-person and for the first time in beautiful Austin, Texas,” Pam Harris, RE/MAX Senior vice president of Customer Experience, said in the statement. 

“Conference attendees will hear stories of inspiration and innovation that will, no doubt, strike a chord with them to help inspire new ways of building and revitalizing their businesses. RE/MAX constantly strives to weave presenters with diverse backgrounds and methods of delivery into the conference sessions to offer a variety of insights and inspiration.”

Among the highlighted speakers include Grammy Award-winning composer and conductor Eric Whitacre, who has given keynote addresses for Fortune 500 companies, global institutions and hosts a TED Talk dealing with teamwork and innovation with more than 3.8 million views. 

Another key speaker will be Gilbert Tuhabonye, "a Burundian long-distance runner, author, philanthropist, and motivational speaker" who came to the U.S. from East Africa to pursue a college degree and went on to be a part of the 1996 Olympic Development Program, followed by a career as a professional runner. According to the release, he will share his story of tragedy and triumph.
