Cavco, one of the largest producers of manufactured homes in the United States, just completed a large upgrade at their Fort Worth facility to help with the booming manufactured housing demand.
The new facility adds six new stations for tape and texture.
“Our plant will enjoy increased output, less rework, improved drying times, fewer delays and less defects – while helping to create a highly efficient and employee-friendly workplace" Eric Fletemeyer, the general manager of Cavco’s Fort Worth Palm Harbor Homes production facility, said in a statement. "Of course, we are actively hiring for all construction positions to fill these new construction lines and holding regular open houses to work with anyone looking for employment as part of our home building team.”
According to the statement, the new facility adds 22,400 sq. ft. for frame build, frame paint, floor build and decking. The tape-and-texture home style has been in increasingly high demand, and this expansion keeps the company on track. A search of their job board shows numerous open positions at the Fort Worth facility.
The statement also confirmed the new building was completed in July.
