A California-based homebuilding company's recently announced expansion into a fast-growing development area near Jarrell will bring with it three new single-family communities, according to a recent statement by the homebuilder.
KB Home announced its expansion into the Sonterra West master plan with the three new single-family home communities: Cool Water, Eastwood and Rio Lobo, in its Thursday, Aug. 19 press release.
"KB Home is excited to expand our presence with three new, single-family home communities in the Sonterra master plan, which offers great amenities and provides easy access to Interstate 35 for a quick commute to area employers," KB Home Austin division President Ken Langston said in the statement.
"As with other KB Home communities, Sonterra home shoppers have the opportunity to purchase a new KB home that can be personalized to reflect their lifestyle and needs."
KB Home, now headquartered in Los Angeles, has its roots in Kaufman & Broad, founded in 1957 in Detroit, Mich. It was the first home builder to be traded on the New York Stock Exchange and has built more than 650,000 homes. KB Home today operates in 45 markets across the nation.
Sonterra West, a 1,400-acre residential and commercial development in a single master planned community, offers a convenient commute to Jarrell, Georgetown, Temple and Austin. Sonterra West residents enjoy community amenities that include a pool, clubhouse, basketball court, parks and walking trails. The Sonterra model complex includes six model homes. Tour opportunities include private in-person and live video tours.
