Texas Medical Center is scheduled for new construction on its Life Sciences Campus.
Phase one of the work will begin during the fourth quarter of this year, according to News Talk Texas.
“Texas Medical Center (TMC), a unique medical city that fosters collaboration between hospitals, universities and business, today announced the launch of a 37-acre life science campus designed to unite the best minds in medicine and commercialization," TMC said to TMC News.
The project will cost $1.8 billion and was designed by Elkus Manfredi Architects, News Talk Texas reported. The campus is set to be the largest Life Science Campus in the world.
According to TMC, the project is anticipated to encompass around 6 million square feet of development.
