Perfect Game USA is coming to Cedar Park.

The baseball scouting company's launch of Project Closer will move the headquarters to Cedar Park, with construction set to begin on June 1, 2022, and be completed by March 1, 2024, according to NewsTalk Texas Real Estate Center.

Providence Group Realty announced the move in a Sept. 29 tweet saying, "Perfect Game scores New Cedar Park HQ."

Community Impact reports that the development is an $800 million investment that is expected to create a revenue of $20 million through sales tax, hotel occupancy tax and lease payments for Cedar Park within 10 years.

City officials in Cedar Park expect the new headquarters to bring in 750,000 visitors every year, told by Community Impact.

The project was initially going to take place in Hutto after they went into an agreement with Perfect Game developer Wolverine Interests, LLC on Apr. 29, 2019. However, legal disputes between Wolverine and Hutto City Manager Odis Jones occurred, resulting in the project receiving a new developer.

"This project will positively impact Williamson County, which is on the rise in the region," Strupeck said, told by Community Impact. "Hutto is excited to be part of this regional economic development that benefits all of our communities."
