A leading business in the used machinery and industrial equipment sector is heading to the Fort Worth area.
Rebusiness Online reports that HGR Industrial Surplus signed a lease at a 1.1-million-square-foot industrial development in Forth Worth. The property was built in 1989 and renovated in 2021.
“CIM Group Signs 184,723-square-foot lease with HGR Industrial Surplus for warehouse facility at Junction 20/35 in Fort Worth," Press Release Point announced in a Sept. 28 Tweet.
CIM Group bought Junction 20/35 back in 2020, according to NewsTalk Texas Real Estate Center.
The lease was brokered by Stream Realty Partners and is expected to bring the park to full occupancy, told by NewsTalk Texas Real Estate Center.
According to HGR's website, the company has a 12-acre showroom located in Euclid, Ohio.
Leading the industry, HGR has a team across the country that inspects and purchases equipment year-round, with approximately 4,000 trucks that arrive at the HGR warehouse every year to sell.
Opening up for business in 1998, HGR now takes up over 700,000 square feet of their current building in Ohio.
"Company founder Paul Betori, upon leaving his previous employment, found himself with a vision for a new business model that would later become HGR Industrial Surplus," the HGR website reports. "As he sat in his living room and gathered his thoughts that would supplement that vision, Van Halen’s 'Unchained' played in the background. The chorus struck a chord with Paul: 'Change, nothing stays the same, Unchained, yeah, you hit the ground running.' HGR certainly 'Hit the Ground Running' in 1998, and we have enjoyed personal and professional growth and success ever since."
