Hilco Real Estate has sold two Austin-area development sites.

The development sites are north of Austin, along I-35 in Georgetown.

"These available development parcels contribute to the continued high growth surge of Georgetown," Steve Madura, senior vice president at Hilco Real Estate, said in a statement.

As of 2021, Georgetown is becoming one of the top 10 fastest growing cities in the U.S. The sites are well-located, near large retail amenities, and are also close in distance to major employers in Austin.

The development sites are both multi- and single-family development tracts, according to the release. They are within eight miles of Georgetown Municipal Airport and 40 miles from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. Georgetown has a population of 76,000, marking a 57% increase from the beginning of the last decade.

Georgetown was also recently named the best place in America to retire, according to the statement. Nearby retail locations are Round Rock Premium Outlets, Wolf Ranch Town Center and University Oaks Shopping Center.

The bid deadline is December 15. Bids can be issued through postal mail to Hilco Real Estate, 5 Revere Dr., Ste 410, Northbrook, Ill., 60062, or via email to jcuticelli@hilcoglobal.com.
