Azalia Benjamin-Mathis came to Houston to mold the minds at schools, but she discovered her passion for finding people their next home.

With her teaching experiences, she helps her clients learn about the process of buying a house.

“I have a strong work ethic, am extremely knowledgeable about different Houston areas, and I LOVE what I do,” she said. “I also offer a wide range of services that buyers and sellers agents don't typically offer. My website is www.azaliarealestate.com, but I'm most active on Instagram: @azalia.realestate.”

Through her work, she’s noticed the immigration traffic in Houston.

“Houston is a wonderful city, and I believe it attracts many people from around the (United States) and other countries,” she said. “We are the fourth largest city in the U.S., and the most diverse-offering a unique blend of many cultures, languages, and traditions. We also have many popular attractions, like top-rated restaurants, museums, festivals, sports teams and much more! Houston offers all these amazing attractions, and it still has affordable pricing when compared to other major cities in the U.S.”

Azalia moved to Houston in 2004 to teach in the public school system, and has been a real estate agent since 2015.

Energy Realty is located in Houston and provides services from relocation and property management to residential purchase and sales.

The median sales price for a single-family home in Houston for October is $305,000. According to the Houston Association of Realtors (HAR), Houston-area realtors sold 8,703 single-family homes in October.
