A commercial real estate company that has completed three buildings in an industrial distribution development located in Brookshire has begun phase two of its project that’ll bring six added industrial buildings to the area.

Stream Realty Partners' construction of the six buildings that total 2.3 million square feet at its Empire West Business Park began in September, a release said. Empire West has 5,000 feet of Interstate 10 and Highway 90 frontage and a dedicated east/west exit.

“Construction on six additional buildings at Empire West Business Park is well underway and expected to be completed by July 2022 near neighbors including Amazon.com, Costco, and Rooms to Go,” Stream Realty’s Facebook page said.

Businesses currently occupying three buildings totaling one million square feet of space, completed in April, are Warefor Solutions LLC (home products), Winix America Inc. (manufacturer of healthy home appliances and air purifiers) and Ferguson Enterprises, (U.S. distributor of plumbing supplies and more).

“That is our strategy for phase two: to provide high-quality, plug-and-play solutions for distributors that will allow them to be up and running by peak season 2022,” Justin Robinson, Stream Houston managing director and partner said in the press release.

The Empire West location has proximity to “over five million people, 1.8 million households with above average incomes, and a 200,000-person workforce within a 60-minute drive time,” Empire West’s website said.
