Clear Capital, LLC, a private equity real estate investment firm headquartered in Los Angeles, announced the sale of five properties containing more than 1,300 units in Dallas in a recent press release.
The portfolio, which Clear Capital established over several years, is located in Dallas and Plano and consists of both core and value-add properties.
This is the company's largest portfolio sale to date.
“The buyer was looking to achieve scale when acquiring assets in the Texas market, and the sale allows us to continue our plans for expansion as envisioned in our business plan by allowing our investors to realize exceptional returns while allowing them exposure to new markets through our planned 1031-exchanges,” Greg Worchell, one of Clear Capital’s managing partners, stated in the release.
Additionally, all Clear Capital investors in Dallas and Plano will be permitted to exchange their returns to other investment opportunities, thereby avoiding capital gains taxes.
Clear Capital, which specializes in owning and running multifamily developments, also provides licensed investors with a minimum investment of $25,000 access to private real estate assets.
The business currently maintains over 5,000 units, has a $950 million asset base and has more than 100 years of real estate experience.
