United Real Estate is merging with Houston-based Texas United Realty, the companies said in a news release.

The two companies combined will be one of the largest independently owned brokerages in Houston, the companies said.

With the merger, the 750 agents of Houston-based Texas United Realty will gain access to United Real Estate's proprietary Bullseye™ Cloud-Based Agent Productivity Platform, suite of innovative marketing programs, lead-producing agent websites and brokerage support services, the news release said.

"United Real Estate's comprehensive agent services and programs delivered via Bullseye Agent Productivity Platform are a tremendous competitive advantage," Rick Rogers, Principal Broker of Texas United Realty, said in a statement.

United and Texas United Realty share the same culture of full-service brokerage support, agent training, career development and flat-fee compensation models, the news release said.

"While Texas United's size, growth and market share were appealing, we were also attracted to the alignment of our cultures and their unique mentorship program which makes them a standout in the Houston marketplace," Dan Duffy, CEO of United Real Estate Group, said in a statement. "We are excited to combine the strengths of both companies, and we look forward to delivering our technology, tools and resources to the Texas United Realty agents and their clients."

United Real Estate currently operates in 27 states, with 100 offices and 13,500 agents, the news release said.
