Law firm Jones Walker LLP recently announced that it has elected 10 new partners and took action to bolster the firm's leadership.
Richard Cortizas was elected, and Rivers Lelong was re-elected to the firm's board of directors, both for four-year terms effective Jan. 1.

"I also look forward to working with Richard and Rivers and the other leaders of our firm as we continue to execute our strategic plan for success and growth."
Lelong is a member of the corporate practice group, and his practice in real estate cases as well as acquisitions.
New partners Gibbons Addison and Joey Steadman also have practice in real estate cases.
Cortizas, also a member of the corporate practice group, serves as the firm's chief diversity officer in its New Orleans office. He has experience representing clients in land use and zoning matters, public finance and economic development projects.
