Sotheby's International Realty recently announced the addition of Staples Property Group LLC and Lake Palestine Real Estate, Inc. to its continuously expanding network, it said in a press release.
Beginning Jan. 5, the merger will continue to operate as Staples Sotheby's International Realty, with its headquarters in Tyler.
"Many say eastern Texas is a hidden treasure, and I must admit that I agree," Sotheby owner Dana Staples said in the statement. "Tyler is truly a place where small-town charm meets big-city culture and with the growing interest in our region."
Staples Sotheby's International Realty, based in Tyler, will now operate three additional offices to serve the communities of Tyler, Lake Palestine and Palestine.
"Known as the Rose Capital of America, the city of Tyler is making a name for itself," president and CEO of Sotheby's International Realty Philip White stated. "As we saw throughout the pandemic, buyers are continuously flocking to new markets in search of space, natural beauty and lifestyle interests."
The expansion, which demonstrates the company's continued expansion in the U.S., also marks its 25th location in Texas, according to Pacific Sotheby's International Realty.
Currently, Staples Sotheby's International Realty has 15 sales associates on its payroll and is planning for future growth following the merger.
